Easter Sunday

We woke up to a dusting of snow this morning and it was cold. Makenna and I spent Easter morning at home. I made breakfast and together we opened the basket that the Easter bunny left for Makenna.

We met the rest of the Dinkins' crew at mom and dad's for a yummy Easter lunch and for an egg hunt. It warmed up later in the afternoon so the kids just needed sweaters outside to find the eggs. The girls had a great time -- Nana actually hid the eggs twice. The kids also got Easter baskets at Nana and Pop's house. Makenna couldn't believe that the Easter Bunny came to their house too! It was cute to watch the amazement in her eyes.

Didn't take long to find the chocolate.
Now she's happy!

1st Chocolate Bunny. She wasn't too sure
about it and freaked out when I told
her it was ok to take a bite.
