Health Update

Last week I spend a night in the hospital for chest pains. During my stay, they did a bunch of blood work, EKGs and Echocardiograms. The good news is that my heart is in good shape. I've lost 29.5 pounds since January. My blood pressure is down closer to the normal range (today it was 116/92). During my hospital stay, they said I had low potassium and that is what was causing the heart palpitations. Today when I was at the doctors, they said my potassium was high -- GRRR! Hopefully we can get this figured out soon. It's very frusturating. The doctor said today that I'm doing all the right things, loosing weight, working out at the gym, and most importantly -- being aware of the needs of my body. I am still very tired, and I'm very irratiable. Hopefully that will pass as I adjust to the medicines. Keep your fingures crossed that the bottom number of my blood pressure continues to come down. The doc said if it does, he'll lower my meds when I'm go see him again in 10 days.

Thanks for the continued prayers.
