Makenna and I were out running errands on a Sunday morning early in November so we stopped by Mom and Dad's to say hi. They were raking leaves so we took the opportunity to "play".

Pumpkin Carving

So, I had this big pumpkin carving day set up at my house for Sunday October 21. There were about 10 people coming and I was going to make Apply Cider Stew. Well, We got over 8" of snow at my house that morning so only mom and dad came. It was still fun. Makenna had a great time carving pumpkins with Pop and playing with the pumpkin seeds was fun too.

Pumpkin Patch

Nana, Pop, Makenna and I went to the pumpkin patch this year. It was beautiful outside. Couldn't have asked for a better day. Pop and Makenna made a scarecrow -- They picked out his clothes and "stuffed" him with straw. It was fun. We also picked out a pumpkin to carve. Makenna loved the horse drawn carriages and hay rides. The lines were too long to wait, but she like watching. Maybe next year we'll get to go for a ride.

Estes Park Colorado

Our friends Jenny and Anna went with us to Estes Park to see the leaves changing colors. It was windy and freezing cold. The girls were all bundled up and Jenny and I had on just sweatshirts -- FREEZING. Nonetheless, it was a fun trip.
