EASTER

This Easter was extra special. Not only was Makenna mine, but she was actully old enough this year to enjoy it! We had snow Easter morning this year for the first time in a long time. Dad, Makenna and I went to Chruch at Englewood Pres. together and went early enough to enjoy a pancake breakfast. Mom, Eric, Candi, Kyra and Aunt Ruthie went to Grace for services this year and then we all met and mom and dad's house for an egg hunt and lunch. It was a fun day!

Hunting eggs is so much fun! I wish I was just
a little taller though so I could see the eggs up
high; like the pink one on the desk above my head.

Kyra and I had so much fun looking for eggs

Look! I found one!

And...one more

Makenna and I dyed Easter eggs together for the first time this year. It was messy, but so much fun! The amazement in her eyes when the white egg shells turned pink, blue or green (or a brown as a result of being in all the colors) was so wonderful to watch. These are the moments that every mom and dad look forward to sharing with their kids. It was AWESOME!

Aren't these cool Mom?
